Are you feeling overwhelmed or finding it tough to make ends meet? It is important to remember that we are here to help.
Debt can feel like a heavy burden, but seeking support is a crucial step toward regaining control of your finances. Whether it’s understanding your options or knowing where to turn for advice, taking action can provide both relief and a clear path forward.
This Debt Awareness Week, let’s break the stigma and explore the support available—because no one should have to face financial struggles alone.
Free expert debt advice from StepChange
StepChange offers free independent debt advice, and, with the support of a debt advisor, they can help you work out the best way forward.
Always use a free and independent, financially-regulated service. Our partner, StepChange, provides free expert debt advice and can recommend tailored solutions suited to your needs.
Sunita’s story
For many people, debt isn’t just about overspending—it’s about struggling to afford the essentials. In fact, 35% of our residents have had to borrow money or use credit to cover basic household costs.
In this video, we share Sunita’s story, highlighting the real impact of debt and how the right support can make a difference. Watch to see how free debt advice helped her regain financial stability, access the benefits she was entitled to, and improve her monthly budget.
