Did you know that Clarion are members of the Housing Quality Network and the Tenant Participatory Advisory Service Network, who offer support and advice for Housing Association residents?
You can join, get involved, and take advantage of various opportunities.
Housing Quality Network (HQN)
The HQN provide expert advice and support to housing associations. Alongside this, its residents’ network keeps you informed about policy changes and their impact.
They also encourage building stronger relationships between residents and Clarion, which will help to make a difference and shape our services.
As a member, you will have access to:
- Discounted events and training: while some events are free, others may have an additional cost. As a member, you will receive discounts on paid events and training sessions.
- Expert advice: Have your questions answered by HQN professionals.
- Regular updates: Stay informed about housing developments.
- HQN networking groups: subscribe and join a WhatsApp group to discuss a variety of topics with other members in your community directly.
Joining fees are covered by Clarion.
Resident newsletter
As a member, you will receive a newsletter which will keep you up to date with changes occurring within the sector, as well as how you can make your voice heard.

Tenant Participation Advisory Services (Tpas)
Like the HQN, Tpas support resident engagement across England by empowering residents and encouraging collaboration between residents, landlords, and contractors.
As a Clarion resident, you can join Tpas for free. Simply sign up and select "join as a tenant" under Clarion.
Member benefits include:
- Invitations to virtual and in-person focus groups and roundtables.
- Opportunities to shape national policy.
- A platform to share your experiences and opinions.
- The chance to join Tpas’ Board of Directors.
Membership is free, although some training days and events may have fees to attend. As a member, you will receive a discount.
