Addressing repairs and building connections in Gorton.

You said:

You had a series of outstanding repairs, including the presence of Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould.

You also wanted more information on:

  • the local activities available
  • money guidance
  • welfare and benefits
  • resident involvement opportunities

We have:

Conducted a door-knock event to speak to residents directly about issues they were facing.

The event was a success through:

  • 47 repairs that were reported are now complete
  • information regarding LCDM has been shared to residents
  • LCDM checks are complete
  • all referrals to Clarion Futures teams have been carried out, giving residents the guidance and support they required
  • all property surveyor checks have been completed
  • Clarion Futures have been engaging with residents and their children to promote various activities in the Gorton area

All complaints and repairs that were highlighted through a survey and the door-knocking event have since been completed.

This helps us build stronger relationships with our residents.
