Section 20 - Passive Fire Safety contractor
Clarion Housing Group requires a Passive Fire Safety contractor to provide services across all regions.
This will give us coverage from a number of accredited contractors over the whole of our stock. We believe that a further long-term strategic alliance with contractors will assist improvement in customer service delivery and efficiencies. The contracts are necessary to enable us to continue to maintain our buildings in accordance with our legal obligations.
We are legally required to issue formal consultation with our residents on new contracts where the residents may be liable for costs of more than £100 per annum.
This does not mean that the cost will be over that amount. At this stage of the procurement process, we are not in a position to confirm the cost for individual residents but costings will be provided in the next stage of this consultation process (Notice of Proposal).
