You need to give at least 4 weeks’ notice. This will start from the date that we receive this completed form, alongside the required supporting documentation. We will then write to you to confirm the notice expiry date. It isn’t a problem if you plan to move out before that date, however, please note that you will be charged rent and any other applicable charges e.g., service charges, until the notice period expires.
Please notify Clarion of any extension to the notice period if required.
As you are submitting this form online, we require copies of your photo ID in order for us to accept this as your notice to quit/agreement to surrender your tenancy. Please note that the notice period will not become effective until this is submitted.
If you have a periodic tenancy, this form will be treated as your Notice to Quit. If you are a joint tenant, only one of you must submit proof of ID to validate this form.
If you have a fixed-term tenancy, this form will be treated as your agreement to surrender. If you are a joint tenant, both of you must submit proof of ID to validate this form.
If you’re unsure what type of tenancy you have, please submit proof of ID for both main and joint tenant. – this will ensure that there is no delays with accepting your notice.

You agree that the property will be empty and unoccupied at the point of return to us. Please note that, in the case of fixed-term tenancies, Clarion reserves the right to refuse the surrender of tenancy if vacant possession is not provided.
You agree to leave the property in a clean and clear condition, in accordance with your tenancy agreement. You will complete any repairs that are your responsibility prior to vacating the property. Please note that you may be recharged should these obligations not be met.
All information you provide in this form will be treated securely, confidentially, in line with data protection law, and will only be used in relation to ending the Tenancy Agreement with Clarion Housing Group.
