Keep toasty this winter: money guidance and wellbeing
With temperatures dipping and the evenings drawing in, winter can be challenging. We know that switching on the heating is a concern for many, so please do check out our guidance on managing the cost of running your home, including getting the best available deals on gas and electricity.
To help you through the months ahead and escape the chill, I am delighted to announce that once again we will be opening the doors to our Wellbeing Spaces, where a warm and cheerful welcome awaits.
Located in our communities across the country, Wellbeing Spaces (formerly known as Warm Spaces) offer a spot where you can relax and enjoy a choice of hot drinks in a friendly environment. They are also a great place to meet your neighbours, make new friends and discover information about support services on your doorstep, alongside those offered by Clarion Futures. You can also take advantage of a programme of activities that support your physical and mental wellbeing.
Open to people of all ages, there is no need to book, and they are completely free. Find out more.

If something does need repairing, you can book and manage your appointment around the clock, seven days a week using your online account. Did you know that this also includes an option for leaks, condensation, damp, and mould?
During this time of year, our homes are at heightened risk of being affected by these issues and we are committed to helping you eradicate them quickly and effectively, every step of the way. Whether that is by sharing our guidance on preventing and tackling the problem yourself or, if you are feeling concerned and need support, by booking a repair online. Read more.
Reconnect with loved ones this festive season: gain your digital stripes
For many of us, the festive season offers an opportunity to reconnect with friends and family. If you are not able to meet face-to-face, the power of technology can help bring you together through virtual platforms, such as Zoom or email.
If you, or someone you know, could do with a hand improving or mastering the skills so vital for today’s digital world, our team of friendly Digital Champions stand ready to help. Based in digital hubs in the heart of Clarion communities, they offer free, one-to-one support set at your chosen pace.
Not only can our Digital Champs get you clued up on how to stay connected, but they can also help you navigate the web and access online services safely, find the best deals online and help you to create a digital CV or search for a job. Find out more about our digital skills support.
If, on the other hand, you would like to inspire and motivate people to get online and help us to topple digital exclusion for good, you can volunteer as a Digital Champion and make a difference in your community.

As we wrap up another year, it is a great opportunity to reflect on our performance and the steady progress we have made to better serve you.
Ensuring you are aware of our services and the standards you can expect, we regularly shine the spotlight on our Clarion Commitments. This includes just some of the key stats and strides we have taken to provide you with a quality, safe and comfortable home that is fit for the future, with services and opportunities that reflect your needs and that of your community.
Think Neighbour: our neighbourhood noise campaign

Be part of our 125th anniversary celebrations
Next year Clarion hits a significant milestone as we mark our 125th anniversary. Central to the celebrations will be your stories and memories, which will bring our history vividly to life. To give you a taste, here is a snippet of 92-year-old Sheila’s story as a lifelong resident of the Sutton estate:
“Everybody looked out for one another, and they helped one another, too. We were very much a community. I feel I’ve had a life, and I hope I’ve made the most of it. I’ve shared my story. So please folks, give yours because I’m sure you’ve got some interesting things that you can say.”
If you have memories like Sheila’s to share, we would love to hear them. Send us an email and we will arrange to call you back for a chat.
Our seasonal opening hours
Finally, it is worth bearing in mind that we will be operating special opening hours during the Christmas period.
Remember, you can still manage your home 24/7, 365 days a year, with your online account. This includes booking and managing repairs, making fast and secure payments, viewing your statements, and much more. Our Virtual Assistant is also on hand to help answer your questions around the clock.
Please note, we will continue to respond to any emergency repairs on 0300 500 8000 within 24 hours as normal.
We wish you the very best for the festive period and the year ahead from us all at Clarion.
