If you aspire to a rewarding career working in schools, Clarion Futures offer a free virtual course to help set you on the right path to the classroom.
At the end of the 12-week programme (one day per week), you will gain a NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award in Preparing to Work in Schools.
This qualification is designed to prepare you for further learning and training, whilst helping you develop an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting.
It also covers how to support the wellbeing of a child or young person and their development.
You will gain skills in working with not only young people, but also mature learners, people with special educational needs, and those for whom English is not their first language.
Delivered remotely on Zoom and starting from Thursday, 12 September 2024, 10am to 2.30pm, the Level 2 Award will cover:
- Understanding schools as organisations
- How to keep children and young people healthy, safe and well.
- How to communicate with children, young people and adults.
You will also be provided with additional support to support you on your journey, including CV writing, tips on how to succeed at a school interview, and financial support with DBS payments (eligibility applies).
