Our Clarion Futures team are excited to invite you, our residents, to the online Christmas cook-along, taking place on Tuesday 5 December from 12-2pm.
This virtual cookery session, held through our Hometruths House programme, will be led by our partner Cracking Good Foods. Their mission is to encourage and support people to cook affordable, seasonal, and nutritious homemade food from scratch.
The programme offers you an opportunity to learn and cook a selection of affordable meals for free; you will be given a £30 supermarket voucher to purchase all the ingredients for the cook-along session.
Upon completing the session, participants will also receive a complimentary kitchen starter kit, equipped with essential items, such as pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, and cutlery.

We received positive feedback from the previous cookery sessions, which were a great hit with residents. In October, Cracking Good Foods held a Halloween cook-along, which showed residents how to turn their Halloween pumpkins into delicious pumpkin soup.
Here is what our residents had to say about our Halloween cook-along…
“I made the most delicious pumpkin soup and naan! Even my baby couldn't get enough!”
“Thank you for the amazing cooking session these sessions help to catch up with the budget.”
“It was fun making the recipes with you guys!”
