About Kickstart

Kickstart provides six-month, paid jobs funded by the government – giving young people the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in major companies across the country.

The £2bn scheme will offer hundreds of thousands of job opportunities over the next two years.

Clarion is leading the Kickstart Housing Partnership. This is a group of 59 organisations, including 44 from the housing sector, that is initially offering more than 800 fully paid work placements. By the end of the programme, the aim is to have delivered more than 1,000 placements, making a real difference to young people nationwide.

Clarion has a proud record of supporting people into work. I’m delighted we’ll be giving opportunities to hundreds of young people to start their careers.
